On the 24th of November, the largest Dutch trade mission ever left for Istanbul, Turkey, conducted by State Secretaries Heemskerk and Van Bijsterveld. Six Dutch cities were part of the mission, of which each had selected one fashion designer to join a Dutch-Turkish fashion show in Istanbul. The city of Eindhoven was represented by MLY. Our visit to Istanbul was truly unforgettable. We had the opportunity to work with Turkish top models (amongst whom Cagla Sikel and Miss Turkey Senay Akay), and a top choreographer. We had a great and glamorous time, for which we specially thank the organization, Mada van Gaans, Edwin Oudshoorn, Jeroen van Tuyl, Eva and Delia, and Sara Vrugt.
